Limited Use Statement
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data the Extension May Handle
- Account information, such as your Stridos account email, authentication status, and user ID.
- Extension settings stored locally or in your Stridos account, such as preferences and connected services.
- Page information only when you ask Stridos to process a page or selected content, such as page title, URL, selected text, visible page content, or a user-provided instruction.
- Browser tab metadata only as needed to provide user-facing assistant features.
- Google API data only when you connect Google services and request related Stridos features.
- Diagnostics and security logs, such as extension version, errors, abuse prevention signals, and basic usage events.
What the Extension Does Not Do
- It does not sell user data.
- It does not use browser data or Google API data for advertising.
- It does not collect full browsing history in the background for unrelated purposes.
- It does not transfer user data to third parties except service providers needed to operate Stridos or integrations the user chooses to use.
Permissions
The extension is intended to request only the permissions needed for its stated features. Depending on the released version, permissions may support authentication, local storage, opening the Stridos panel, reading selected user-requested page content, or sending user-requested content to Stridos for assistant processing.
Purpose of Use
- Provide the Stridos assistant inside Chrome.
- Summarize, organize, or act on content that the user intentionally submits or asks Stridos to process.
- Connect the browser experience with Stridos account, tasks, reminders, documents, and integrations.
- Maintain security, reliability, abuse prevention, support, and diagnostics.
Retention and Deletion
Local extension settings can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data. Stridos account and integration data can be deleted by following our Data Deletion Instructions.
