These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Finance Bot, an AI-powered life and business assistant operated via Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, and SMS. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Finance Bot is an AI assistant that provides:
Personal and business finance tracking (expenses, income, budgets, reports)
Receipt and document scanning via OCR
Task management, reminders, and shopping lists
Life tracking (meals, hydration, mood, daily planning)
The service is accessible through messaging platforms including Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, and SMS.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Finance Bot
You must have a valid account on a supported messaging platform
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your messaging account
3. Account and Family
Each user belongs to a "family" — a shared financial workspace
The account creator ("owner") can invite other members via invite code
Members share financial categories and data within their family
The owner is responsible for managing access to their family account
Each messaging platform account can be linked to one Finance Bot family
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
Use the service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading financial data
Attempt to access other users' data or bypass security measures
Use the bot to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages to third parties
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the bot's source code
Overload the service with automated requests or abuse the API
Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others
Upload malicious files, malware, or content that violates third-party rights
5. AI-Generated Content
Important: Finance Bot uses artificial intelligence to process your requests and generate responses. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
Financial reports, tax estimates, and cash flow forecasts are informational only and do not constitute professional financial, tax, or legal advice
Always verify important financial decisions with a qualified professional
AI-generated images, text, and code are provided "as is" — review before use
We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content
6. WhatsApp-Specific Terms
When using Finance Bot via WhatsApp:
You consent to receiving messages from our WhatsApp Business account
Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply
You can stop receiving messages at any time by blocking the bot or sending "stop"
We do not use WhatsApp data for advertising purposes
Interactive features (buttons, lists) require the latest version of WhatsApp
7. Connected Services
Google OAuth: Email and calendar features require you to grant access to your Google account. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google account settings
Browser actions: Automated web browsing is performed on your behalf with your explicit approval. We are not responsible for actions taken on third-party websites
Payment processing: Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Your payment information is stored securely by Stripe, not by us
8. Subscription and Billing
Finance Bot offers a subscription plan at $49/month
Payment is processed through Stripe
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the bot
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support
9. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to Finance Bot
We do not sell your personal data to third parties
You can delete your data at any time through the bot
Multi-tenant isolation ensures your data is separated from other users
10. Intellectual Property
Finance Bot and its underlying technology are our intellectual property
Content you create using the bot (text, images, code) belongs to you
You grant us a limited license to process your content for service delivery
The Finance Bot name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
11. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
We may perform maintenance with or without prior notice
Service depends on third-party platforms (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) which may experience their own outages
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature
12. Limitation of Liability
Finance Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
We are not liable for losses caused by AI-generated content inaccuracies
We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your messaging account
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
Data deletion upon termination follows our Privacy Policy
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the bot or on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, NY.
